A Keighley teenager has become the youngest member of the Rugby League World Cup cheerleading squad.
Sian Reid, 14, will travel the UK performing for World Cup qualifying matches with the Elite Cheer Team.
The Holy Family School student will cheer players from the England team as they play international opponents.
Sian was one of nine members of the Bradford-based Panache Cheer School chosen last month for the 30-strong Elite squad.
Sian's mother Vena Reid said her daughter was in tears when she rang from Liverpool to say she had passed the audition.
Sian has been a cheerleader for three years after being recruited by Panache leader Robyn Morrison during a summer workshop.
The teenager said: "The girls are all over 19, there's just me just me who's the little one. At each match half of us do promotions work and half do the dancing. We take turns."
Sian's first match will be in Cardiff on October 26.
