George Galloway slams MPs' extra room ‘hypocrisy’

George Galloway has slammed the “hypocrisy” of fellow MPs who claim public funds for spare rooms for their children – after backing the ‘bedroom tax’.
The Respect MP for Bradford West said around 60 MPs had backed the controversial legislation, while receiving higher expenses for their own youngsters.
Furthermore, under recent changes to Parliamentary rules, they were eligible for the cash even if their child visited just once a month, he claimed.
Now Mr Galloway has tabled a parliamentary motion, urging the Government to end what he called “this unfair allowance which can only reflect badly with members of the public”.
