Keighley set for three-day Oktoberfest market
2:44pm Wednesday 9th October 2013 in News
People can get in touch with their continental side for an annual three-day Oktoberfest starting tomorrow.
The event in Keighley has been running since 2004 and is organised by the town council.
Its highlight will again be a three-day street market comprising up to 50 stalls, which will be laid on by Bradford Council in Low Street, Keighley.
The market will take place from today to Saturday and will feature a wide variety of fresh produce.
The Oktoberfest will also include live music from three bands, which will be playing on Church Green on the Saturday.
Bands booked to perform for next week are Hollow Earth, Brand New Analogues and Sounds of Swami.
There will be a small funfair with children’s rides, also on Church Green, and other lively street entertainment including a Punch and Judy show.
