Allerton woman who stabbed her mother has case adjourned
9:00am Wednesday 9th October 2013 in News
A 22-year-old woman who repeatedly stabbed her mother with a kitchen knife in a drink-fuelled row has had her case adjourned for a bail hostel assessment.
Susan Ayrey (pictured outside court after an earlier hearing) must come back to Bradford Crown Court for sentence on November 7.
Judge John Potter told her yesterday that she must abide by the hostel regulations or she will be arrested and kept in custody.
Ayrey, of Lindholme Gardens, Allerton, Bradford, knifed Elaine Ayrey, 49, on May 27.
Mrs Ayrey suffered a punctured lung needing surgery, a shoulder wound and a cut to her ear.
Ayrey pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
