Bradford shop hit by ram raid is open again
8:26pm Tuesday 8th October 2013 in News
A Bradford frozen yoghurt shop has re-opened after a ram raid last week.
Two men used a silver Ford Mondeo to smash through the front window of Zest in Leeds Road at 5am on Friday.
They tried to take a 280kg ice-cream machine but were disturbed by a neighbour and fled.
Owner Andrew Wilson, above, was able to reopen over the weekend and thanked customers for their sympathy and support.
Police were due to take a further statement from him and confirmed the investigation was ongoing.
It was the second similar attack in the city last week – the Fliirt frozen yoghurt shop in Tyrrel Street had a front window cracked in another break-in attempt. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
