Bradford man, 28, set for custodial sentence
9:00am Wednesday 9th October 2013 in News
A 28-year-old man was held in custody overnight to be sentenced today for entering a house in Bradford with intent to steal.
Judge Colin Burn told him: “The outcome is inevitably to be a custodial sentence of some length.”
Hemingbrough had previous convictions for burglary and arson, the court was told.
He was found guilty of entering a house in Airedale Crescent, Undercliffe, Bradford, with intent to steal therein, on June 16.
The judge said he did not need a probation report but sentence was delayed overnight so that Hemingbrough’s barrister, Ken Green, could attend court to speak out on his behalf.
