Extra subsidised homes plan for Keighley estate
9:00am Wednesday 9th October 2013 in News
An extra 20 subsidised homes could be built as part of a new Keighley housing estate.
A partnership of social housing provider Incommunities and developer Skipton Homes have applied to build 20 two-bedroom houses on currently empty land at Woodland Heights.
The site already include 96 houses, 22 of which were handed over to Incommunities.
Former council houses on the site were demolished two years ago to make way for the estate.
In their application, the group says the houses will “stand the test of time” and show “that something special is happening in the Keighley area in order to draw the attention of investors and prospective residents.”
Bradford Council will decide on the application in the coming weeks.
