New moves on Addingham motel plans
12:00pm Tuesday 8th October 2013 in News
A pension fund scheme behind plans to build a 30-bedroom motel is seeking a certificate of lawfulness allowing work to begin.
The development, which also includes a petrol station, was granted in 1996, subject to several conditions..
The revised plan for the site was granted permission in 2005. A further planning application, for renewal of permission, was granted by the Council in 2010.
The land has remained undeveloped. A statement from town planning consultants David Storries Associates, accompanying the certificate of lawfulness applications, says the permission has been implemented as all conditions have been ‘discharged’.
