A woman whose late father was cared for at Manorlands has raised over £7,000 for the hospice.
Katie Bache has spent the past few months staging various fundraising activities in memory of dad Tony Jones, who died in July last year after battling a brain tumour.
She and her husband Oliver began the campaign by taking part in the Keighley BigK 10k run in March.
They and family and friends then tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks and last month Katie and best friend Jodie Milward organised a dinner dance at Shipley Golf Club, for which many businesses gave raffle prizes and auction lots.
Katie said: “When my dad died I wanted to keep his memory alive and give something back to Manorlands for the help and support it gave us, and I know my dad would have been very supportive of this.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the year, making it a little easier to get through.”
Before his illness, Mr Jones was store manager at the then Sunwin House in Keighley.
After he was diagnosed, when well enough, he volunteered at the Sue Ryder shop in Bingley.
