MP Mary is talking on food policy in Bradford
9:00am Thursday 3rd October 2013 in News
Bradford residents will tomorrow have the chance to discuss a range of issues relating to food policy at a special Parliamentary event held at City Training Services, Chapel Street.
This free event, from 11am to 3pm, offers people the opportunity to air their views on issues such as food distribution and sustainability to Mary Creagh MP (pictured), Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and to meet representatives from Parliament Outreach, the House of Commons Library, and the European Parliament Information Office. ‘Parliament Talks Food’ is the latest in a series of subject-specific events organised around the UK by the Houses of Parliament Outreach Service, highlighting Parliament’s role in scrutinising public policy and holding the Government to account.
