Help us to find you, say Bradford lifesavers
9:00am Wednesday 2nd October 2013 in News
Householders in hard-to-find spots across the Bradford district are being urged to speed up ambulance times by providing specific directions to an online service.
The MapMe service by Yorkshire Ambulance NHS Trust – which covers 6,000 square miles of varied terrain – lets people share information about the tricky location of their home so it can be found swiftly. David Williams, deputy director of operations, said: “If you think your property is difficult to find complete an online form detailing specific directions. This will then be used in the mapping system in our emergency centres.” To register, visit the Yorkshire Ambulance Service website at www.yas.nhs.uk. MapMe can be found in the Calling 999 section.
