Firms can find out about funding
9:00am Wednesday 2nd October 2013 in News
An EU-backed event will enable Bradford business bosses to meet representatives from a range of organisations providing funding, grants and alternative sources of finance.
The free lunchtime event is being hosted by Bradford Chamber of Commerce at its Little Germany base on Thursday, October 10, to enable businesses to find out what is available and what type of companies qualify for the specific funding streams from various organisations.
Delegates will also be able to find out about two new sources of funding from Bradford Council – a grant of up to £1,500 to meet recruitment and training costs for new staff and a 50 per cent capital grant for businesses located within the city centre growth zone.
Organisations represented at the event are: National Metals Technology Centre, Revolving Investment Fund, Business Enterprise Fund, Royal Bank of Scotland, Chamber International, R&D Tax Credits, Leeds City Region LEP, Manufacturing Advisory Service, Growth Accelerator and the Rising Stars enterprize initiative.
Delegates will be able to meet firms that have taken advantage of grants and alternative sources of funding. The event has been organised with the Bradford Airedale Manufacturing Alliance and Rising Stars and is funded by the European regional development Fund.
