Funeral held for daughter of minister
Tributes have been paid to the daughter of a Bradford minister who died at the age of 28.
Emma Woodhouse, whose father Mark works at Holme Church in Holme Wood, had been troubled with ill health since she was involved in an ice skating accident when she was 16.
Her brother, Adam, senior youth worker with The Edge, a neighbourhood youth group on Holme Wood, said his sister broke her leg but complications led to her being confined to a wheelchair.
A few years later, Emma became partially sighted, but she never let her disabilities get in her way.
Emma died on August 29 and, befitting her love of animals, she asked for her coffin to be carried in a carriage pulled by white horses for her funeral at Holme Church which was attended by 200 family and friends.
She is survived by her parents Mark and Sheila, and her brother Adam.
