Police appeal for biker involved in Bradford hit-and-run
6:00am Monday 30th September 2013 in News
Police have appealed for a hit-and-run motorcyclist to come forward after a 58-year-old man suffered “serious injuries” as he tried to cross a road in Bradford.
The incident happened in Leeds Road, near the junction with Killinghall Road, on Friday at about 10.45pm.
The motorcyclist immediately rode away from the scene. The pedestrian suffered two broken legs and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he remained in a serious condition yesterday.
Police have now asked for the rider to come forward before they are identified by a police investigation. And they have also appealed for information from anyone who could identify the motorbike and its rider.
The motorcycle was black and was a sports style bike, similar to a Suzuki Bandit. The rider was wearing black leathers and a black helmet.
