Healthwatch Bradford and District seeks views on services
8:00am Monday 30th September 2013 in News
Members of the public are being asked to sign-up to be ‘Healthwatchers’ and share their experiences of health and social care services with consumer champion Healthwatch Bradford and District.
The independent organisation was set up in April to make sure the voices of patients are heard by those in charge of running, planning and regulating NHS and social care services in the district.
“For Healthwatch to make a difference, we need people to talk to us, work with us, and take part,” says Javed Khan, chairman of the Healthwatch Board. “We want people to tell us what’s going on in health and social care services in their local area.”
Healthwatch is holding three events where people can find out more. They are on Monday, October 7, at 1.30pm at Kirkgate Centre, Shipley, Wednesday, October 9, at 10am at Steeton Hub, Steeton, and Thursday, October 10, at 6pm at Kala Sangam Centre, Bradford To book a place or for more information, visit healthwatchbradford.co.uk or call (01535) 665 258.
