The charred car
A fire that destroyed a car on the slip road to the M62 is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault in the engine department.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which happened at the junction 27 exit from the motorway at about 4pm yesterday.
Little disruption was caused and the slip road was fully opened after just an hour.
