Workman stable after falling through Feversham College roof
A workman who fell 13ft through the roof of a school building was yesterday described as being in a stable condition in hospital.
His injuries included a chipped bone in his neck and a broken wrist.
The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Lynn Murphy, business manager at the school, said: “We have never had anything like this before. It was a unfortunate incident and the contractor on site has an unblemished record.”
Planning permission was granted earlier this year by Bradford Council for construction of a first-floor extension to create office space.
