Chef Rosemary Shrager visits Bradford College
8:00am Wednesday 25th September 2013 in News
Celebrity chef and cookery teacher Rosemary Shrager has met budding cooks at Bradford College.
Mrs Shrager, of television shows Rosemary Shrager’s School for Cooks and Castle Cook, visited the college after hospitality lecturer Janice Atack and Level 3 pastry students tested recipes from her forthcoming new book, Absolutely Foolproof Cakes, Bakes and Puddings.
Mrs Atack volunteered to test the recipes to ensure they really were ‘foolproof’ and perfect every time.
The cook then invited the lecturer and students Sophie Hutton and Jessica Vanston to London to have lunch at Michelin Star restaurant The Ledbury.
Level 3 Patisserie student Jessica Vanston said: “It was an amazing experience… one of the best things I have ever done. I really enjoyed it and the recipes were really easy to understand… they were fool proof.”
