Otley Folk Festival sings a song of success
Otley again hosted its famous folk festival over the weekend with many of the country’s finest artists filling pubs and venues with music lovers drawn from Anglesey to East Anglia.
Thousands of fans homed in to enjoy the traditional delights of the 2013 Black Sheep Otley Folk Festival. And many chose to camp during what is now one of Britain’s top folk attractions.
This year's event featured dozens of artists playing at a variety of venues - including the Labour Club, Otley Cricket and Rugby Clubs, the Methodist Hall and several pubs.
And in the words of organiser Steve Fairholme the hugely popular line-up included: “Young guns, old guns, and veritable blunderbi of the folk scene."
