New bid to build six homes on Addingham site
2:09pm Sunday 22nd September 2013 in News
A new planning application for houses on the edge of Addingham has been submitted to Bradford Council, following the withdrawal of plans for seven homes.
Addingham resident, Stephen Hall, of Street House Grange, has applied for permission to build six houses on land at Street House Farm, The Street Addingham.
The land lies to the south-west of the village, backing onto the A65 Addingham bypass. Part of the site previously gained approval for a detached dwelling and garage.
The plot is outside of Addingham Conservation Area, although close to Grade II Listed buildings.
A Design and Access Statement by Allison & Macrae said: “The proposal is appropriate in principle.”
The previous application for seven houses on the site was withdrawn by the applicant to permit discussions with the planning authority.
