Tapestry charting city to be launched
5:31pm Friday 20th September 2013 in News
A tapestry charting Bradford’s past, present and future will be unveiled.
‘The Threads that Bind Us’ is the result of a project involving children at 16 primary schools in the city who worked with older people’s groups and artists Morwenna Catt and Lucas Stephens to produce the embroidered and appliqued story scroll to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
It will be officially unveiled in the Lord Mayor’s office at Bradford City Hall at 10am on Wednesday, October 2.
