Ten arrested after gun fired in 'road rage' Thornbury brawl

Ten men have been arrested after a gun was fired during a suspected road-rage brawl in Bradford.
Police were called to Upper Rushton Road, Thornbury, on Tuesday following reports of a fight involving numerous men.
Witnesses said one of the men was carrying a gun.
Police said subsequent forensic examination of the area confirmed a gun had been fired.
A short time after the incident, which police said happened at about 2.40pm, firearms officers stopped a silver Volkswagen Passat on Upper Mosscar Street, Thornbury, and arrested the five men in it, who were aged 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27.
Four other men, aged 20, 25, 26 and 28, have also been arrested in connection with the incident after the Audi vehicle they were in was followed by police to a property on Moorland Road, Pudsey.
Another man, aged 19, was arrested overnight Tuesday into Wednesday in Eccleshill. All ten remain in police custody.
A police spokesman said: “At this stage there are not believed to be any injured parties and officers are treating the incident as a targeted attack.
“High visibility patrols have been increased in the areas providing reassurance to local residents.”
