Police confirm identities of two of the three people killed in Thornton collision

Police have today confirmed the identities of two of the three people who died following a collision on Thornton, Bradford, on Monday night.
The driver of the black Mitsubishi Evo vehicle was Jonathan Adam Ruthven, 27, from Denholme. The rear seat passenger was Jade Best, 19, who also came from Denholme, police have confirmed.
A 32-year-old man who was also killed in the collision has yet to be named by police.
Police are still appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward and are asking that anyone seeing the black Mitsubishi driving along Thornton Road or in the nearby area prior to the collision calls West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101 The incident is believed to have occurred just after 11pm as a black coloured Mitsubishi Evo vehicle, which was travelling towards Bradford, left the road close to the junction with Kipping Lane and collided with a nearby stone building.
All three occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
