Egg-heads, brain-boxes and boffins are urged to stretch their minds and join the Airedale Quiz League which celebrates its 47th anniversary this year.
Thought to be the country’s second oldest league, teams battle for trophies, cups and fun in pubs from Shipley to Skipton and Bingley to Baildon.
But apart from the glory, its mainly about the thrill of exercising grey matter, said league secretary Mick Farrar.
“We have a very high standard of teams with people who have been on numerous TV quiz show including Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, Eggheads and others,” Mr Farrar said.
“And we really hope to encourage new people to come forward and join up in advance for next year’s season.
“Matches are on Tuesday nights at various pubs and any new teams are extremely welcome,” Mr Farrar said.
