New bid to extend Wilsden storage site
8:00am Tuesday 17th September 2013 in News
The owner of a Wilsden caravan storage business is trying for a second time to extend the size of his site.
Kurt Kunz saw his expansion plans refused by Bradford Council in July, with planning officers deeming them “inappropriate” for greenbelt land.
If he had got permission it would have allowed him to expand K&K Caravan storage at Coppice Cottage onto a neighbouring field, increasing the number of caravans from 90 to 125.
He has now re-submitted his application, saying he is having to turn potential customers away because there is not enough space on his existing site, and that the expansion is necessary to ensure the future of the business.
