Her dad, Stuart Alexander, is tagging along from his home in Oxfordshire Miss Alexander, 30, has been involved with the charity, which trains dogs to assist people with disabilities, for a number of years.
She said: “The bio-detection dogs who assist people with severe diabetes can tell just by sniffing their breath or licking their fingers if their insulin levels are putting them in danger. If they are at a dangerous level they trot off, get the medication and put it in the person’s lap.”
