Addingham’s third annual celebration of real ale will take place at The Memorial Hall in Addingham on October 4 and 5, with all profits going to local good causes.

This year’s festival kicks off with a sponsors only session from 4 pm on Friday, October 4, followed by a public session from 6pm till late. Then on Saturday,October 5 there will be an afternoon session from noon and a second session from 6pm till late.

Thirty five different ales will be on offer, many of which will be from local breweries, including Ilkley, Wharfebank, Wharfedale, Naylors and Saltaire, as well as others from further afield.

There will also be ten ciders and sloe-gin cocktails, so all tastes will be catered for.

Local musician Serious Sam Bennett will be playing on Friday evening, whilst Saturday night will feature the Trill Bees, another local band.

The Aagrah will provide Asian snacks at the sponsors session and will also hold a cooking demonstration and tasting event on the Saturday afternoon.

A barbecue will be on offer from local Addingham firm GFS Catering on the Friday night, whilst The Fleece Addingham will cater for the Saturday evening.
