The chairman of Bradford Council’s health and social care committee has asked for a new discussion on the future of Ilkley’s Coronation Hospital.
Ward councillor Mike Gibbons (Con, Ilkley) said he had asked for the issue to be put on the agenda of the committee’s December meeting.
Ilkley parish councillor Brian Mann asked at the latest parish council meeting what has happened with plans for the hospital - which health trust bosses had planned to rebuild.
Coun Gibbons said: “Whilst it remains quite up front, it’s still very much something I’m taking forward wherever possible.”
He said he had scheduled a meeting with the head of the relevant health service property services department.
