More than £3,000 has been given to Marie Curie Cancer Care following a golf day.
More than 80 players from East Bierley Golf Club raised £3,300 at the event in June, and now the money has been handed to the charity.
The main sponsor for the event was Park House Healthcare whose managing director, Stephen Owens, is a member at the club.
Additional support was given by the club, other members, local organisations and shops who sponsored tees and donated prizes.
The 2012 club captain, Steven Goddard, also donated money he raised through various events during his time as captain.
Chairman of the charity committee Jan Kudelnitzky said: “A number of our members have personal experience of the very valuable services available from Marie Curie Cancer Care and we wished to acknowledge this in a small way through our donation to enable the valuable work to continue.”
