Bingley crash man is ‘poorly but stable’
7:00am Tuesday 3rd September 2013 in News
A man airlifted to hospital with chest injuries after a two-car smash in Bingley remained in a “poorly but stable” condition yesterday.
Police closed off Ferncliffe Road after the collision last Wednesday lunchtime between a Land Rover Discovery and Citroen Saxo.
An air ambulance took the most seriously hurt person, a passenger in the Saxo, to Leeds General Infirmary, while another man was taken by road to Airedale Hospital.
The road stayed shut until shortly before 5pm with traffic congestion starting to ease in time for the evening rush hour.
