Airedale Beer Festival set to start
11:00am Tuesday 3rd September 2013 in News
The pumps are primed for the inaugural three-day Airedale Beer Festival, which begins on Friday.
Simon Lamb, Bridgehouse Brewery’s newly appointed head of sales and marketing, said: “There has been a great deal of interest and we are hoping for a bumper turnout.”
Mr Lamb, who joined the company after a 30-year career as a relationship manager with Yorkshire Bank in West Yorkshire, said more than 50 ales would be on tap at the event, including brews from the Orkneys and Cornwall.
The festival is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon. It will feature live music by local artists and bands, along with food and children’s entertainment and will raise funds for Manorlands hospice at Oxenhope and the Help for Heroes charity.
The event is being sponsored by mobile phone recycling company MPRO, Illingworth McNair Insurance Brokers, the Airedale Heifer and DML Digital Print.
