Delivery driver cut free after car smash
A delivery driver had to be cut free from his car following a smash.
Firefighters removed the driver’s door of a Toyota Corolla and cut through the framework to rescue a man in his 40s, thought to have spinal injuries, after the incident in Allerton.
The side of the car had been hit by a Ford Fiesta, a spokesman for Shipley Fire Station said.
Crews form Bradford and Shipley were called at 7.42pm last night.
“The side of the car was quite badly smashed in and the driver was trapped,” the spokesman said.
He said the passengers of the other vehicle were not injured.
Firefighters were at the scene, in Grange Road, for about an hour and police are investigating.
