Lunchtime organ recitals at Bradford Cathedral resume this Wednesday at the usual time of 1.05pm.
Cathedral director of music Alex Woodrow will be playing works by J S Bach, Cesar Franck and Flor Peeters on the Cathedral’s four manual Hill, Norman and Beard pipe organ.
The weekly Wednesday lunchtime series, which includes visits from musicians from Leeds, Durham and Lichfield Cathedrals alongside the home team, concludes with a special recital on December 4 which will feature all three of the cathedral’s organists in a challenge recital.
Admission to the organ recitals is free with a retiring collection to support the upkeep of the cathedral organ. Recitals go on for about 50 minutes. A buffet lunch is available at 12.30pm at a cost of £3.
