8:00am Saturday 31st August 2013 in News
An open university student is on a high after reaching the half-way point in her bid to do 21 challenges before her 21st birthday in January.
Nichole Tinnion is raising money for Epilepsy Action by attempting feats linked to the number 21. The charity supports her mother Angela Cranny, who was diagnosed with the condition 32 years ago.
On Tuesday, she flew a plane for 21 minutes at Leeds Bradford Airport. The Open University business student who works for Asda said: “It was terrifying! We went out to Scarborough and Bridlington so the views were amazing, but taking off and landing were by far the scariest.”
Nichole, of Baildon, has now completed 11 tasks and raised more than £400. Support her at justgiving.com/21things.
