Chief Nursing Officer for England Jane Cummings has met with student nursing staff at Bradford District Care Trust to see how modern thinking is influencing mental health care.
The visit included a tour of Lynfield Mount’s new psychiatric intensive care unit and the Step Forward Centre, a 12-bed facility used for helping adults get ready for life back in the community.
Student nurses Chelsea Malcolm and Sam Wallace led the guided tour.
Mrs Cummings said: “It’s great to meet with the nurses of the future.”
