Church play shows selflessness through history
Stories of people who acted selflessly to help others will be dramatised this autumn at Keighley Shared Church.
Christian theatre group Riding Lights will take audiences through history during its play A Different Drum on October 30.
The show begins in the 17th century in the Derbyshire village of Eyam where the plague arrived in the blood of a flea. The villagers decided to close off the village and sacrifice themselves to save neighbours from the disease.
Tickets cost £10 from the Rev Peter Mott on 01535 601499 or peter.mott@ chipmail.co.uk
