Cyclists complete charity mission
5:29pm Monday 26th August 2013 in News
A team of cyclists completed a gruelling 210-mile ride from Edinburgh to the Bradford district.
Pub owner Craig Minto led the cyclists over the weekend as they raised funds for a cancer charity.
Owner of The Sun Inn and The Fleece in Addingham, Craig and his courageous cycling crew, started at The Sun Inn, Dalkeith, and traveled approximately 40 to 60 miles each day until they reached the finishing line at The Fleece at Addingham, on Sunday.
Craig was introduced to cycling by his good friend Scott Spitty, who has leukemia and cycles to help with the condition.
On their way south, the team stopped off at the border between England and Scotland to pose for this picture.
