Police say hard work has paid off after 24-hour burglary-free period
1:36pm Monday 26th August 2013 in News
Police say their hard work resulted in a 24-hour burglary-free period across a huge area of the city.
Sergeant Mike Bonner, of the City Ward neighbourhood policing team, said that across the Bradford South Division there were no house burglaries between 7am on Wednesday, August 21, and Thursday, August 22.
“That is a huge area, and even includes the City Centre Ward,” he said. “It’s no coincidence. It is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and targeted actions of every police constable, special constable and PCSO that covers the area.”
