Up to 500 Bradford youngsters got stuck into a range of activities on a police-led summer camp.
The West Yorkshire Police Summer Camp 2013, held at Bradford College, featured sports and daredevil activities such as rock climbing and abseiling.
There was also cookery, an Xbox arcade, dancing, and interactive demonstrations with the police and fire service.
Organiser PCSO Chris Cahill, of the Bowling, Barkerend and Bradford Moor Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The management team and our partners have worked really hard to provide a packed programme of two weeks of fun activities and we believe this year’s summer camp was the best yet.
“Working with young people in this setting allows us to develop a relationship with our communities and promote trust and confidence in neighbourhood policing. The kids love it, their parents love it, and we love it.”
Bradford College lecturer Nosheen Qamar said: “The college is proud to be part of this project and will continue to work with police and partners to have a positive impact on Bradford.
“Taking part in the summer camp allows our students to develop skills that will help them to seek jobs in the future.”
