A retrospective planning application to turn a Bradford house into a hairdressers has been approved.
The application had been submitted by Joanna Brewster for a property at 1 Stone Hall Road, Eccleshill.
The building is a two-storey house at the junction of Stone Hall Road and Acre Lane.
Planners noted that the area is predominantly residential and consists of a variety of housing types.
A planning officer’s report said: “The proposed change of use would result in an A1 floor area of less than 150 square metres.
“Given the floor area involved the proposed change of use is not anticipated to result in any adverse implications in respect of the vitality or viability of the city centre or any town, district or local centre.
“The submitted proposal does not include any external alteration and therefore no adverse visual amenity implications are foreseen.”
