Chance to join Leeds Festival clear-up
Young people with a passion for recycling will be doing their bit at Leeds Festival this weekend.
Through the international organisation ‘Everything is Possible’, 35 young people from Estonia, France, Italy and Poland salvaged sufficient good camping equipment from the recent Beacons Festival in Skipton to support organisations from around Yorkshire and Lancashire including Skipton, Bradford, Halifax, Keighley and Ilkley.
The project, supported by the British Council, the European Commission, is now preparing for its second salvage at the Leeds Festival.
Organisations interested in the campaign equipment can apply until Saturday lunch time as long as they can come to the Leeds Festival site either on Monday 26 at 4pm or Tuesday 27 at 1pm.
Organisations interested in helping out should contact raphael@everything ispossible.eu for a short application form to complete.
A donation of £25 is asked in order to help the organisation feed the volunteers.
