5:58pm Monday 19th August 2013 in News
The Moravian Church at Lower Wyke, settled as a congregation in 1855, will open its doors again on Saturday, September 14, from 10am to 4pm, and Sunday, September 15, from 1pm to 4pm as part of Heritage Open Day.
On display will be photographs of church life over the years, church registers, memorabilia and walks around the settlement.
Organised and funded by English Heritage these weekends have become one of the most popular cultural events with the church, on Lower Wyke Lane, one of more than 4000 properties and sites across England which will be opened, free of charge, to the public.
