Boy, 13, fights for life after dog attack
A boy is fighting for his life after a dog attack this evening.
The 13-year-old boy was thought to have been dragged downstairs by the dog, which neighbours say was a Bull Dog which had been given to the family two or three days ago.
Armed police shot the dog dead so they could get to the terrified boy who is in a critical condition at Leeds General Infirmary.
The alarm was raised when a girl of the same age ran to a neighbour's house screaming at about 7.30pm this evening.
He was thought to have been visiting his cousin at a house in Frank Street, Little Horton.
