After months of training riding up some of Yorkshire’s steep hills including Otley Chevin, Pool Bank and The Cow and Calf, a cyclist has completed a 100-mile cycling challenge around London and Surrey.
Bryan Hindle, managing director of Brick-Tie Ltd, based in Leeds, was one of over 15,000 riders who took part in The Prudential London Surrey 100.
He tackled the ride to raise £1,200 for The Samaritains – double his target.
The event, which took place on August 4 was broadcast on television and watched by millions.
Donations can still be made by visiting Bryan’s virginmoneygiving page.
