Archaeology enthusiasts are being invited to sign up for the West Yorkshire Archaeology Advisory Service’s Day School.
The event is on Saturday, October 19, at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. Delegates will be brought up to date with the results of recent archaeological work in West Yorkshire..
Bradford Councillor Val Slater, chairman of the West Yorkshire archives, archaeology and trading standards committee, said: “Whether you are a serious researcher or are just curious about West Yorkshire’s past, I can promise you that, if previous lectures are anything to go by, the day will turn out to be a thoroughly interesting one and enjoyed by all.”
