Wilko Johnson is to perform at Bingley Music Live
Former Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson will perform at Bingley Music Live.
The musician revealed in January he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had elected not to undergo chemotherapy. He played a farewell tour which was due to finish with two appearances in his home town of Canvey Island in March. They were cancelled after he fell ill and, at the time, he thought he would never appear on stage again.
Now he is confirmed to play one of his last ever shows at the Bradford Council-organised Bingley Music Live event on Saturday, August 31.
The festival takes place at Myrtle Park from Friday, August 30, until Sunday, September 1. Tickets are available at bingleymusiclive.com/tickets or by calling 0871 220 0260.
