Pupils who carried out a project on London received a surprise letter from the Queen.
All 27 youngsters from year three at St Stephen’s Primary school, Skipton, wrote to the Queen asking how she spent her day – and about her pets.
The response was a letter from the Queen, saying how pleased she was that the children had shown an interest in the royal family and enclosing information about her life in Buckingham Palace.
