A 22-year-old Keighley woman was racially abused on a train between Bradford and Skipton.

British Transport Police have released CCTV pictures of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on the 7.07pm service from Bradford Forster Square to Skipton on Thursday, June 20.

PC Keith Warne, who is investigating said: “The victim, a 22-year-old woman from Keighley, was travelling alone on the train when she was verbally abused by three men, who are alleged to have made offensive racist remarks towards her.

“Understandably this incident has left the victim feeling extremely shaken.

“Verbal abuse is unacceptable and when it has a racist undertone it is even more deplorable. Passengers should feel able to use the network without being subjected to any kind of abuse.

“Anyone who recognises the men pictured should get in touch.”
