Carers and older people in Keighley are invited to monthly sessions to help them relax and feel good.

Organised by the Carers’ Resource, Time for Me is about giving carers and older people practical tips to help them take time out, relax, tackle stress, boost their energy levels and think positively.

The project will be unveiled at Keighley Healthy Living in Scott Street, Keighley, on Thursday from 10am to 12pm.

It will include an informal introduction to the course, and therapists will be there to talk to people about their sessions.

Monthly sessions will be held at KHL on the first Thursday in the month from 10am to noon, and cost £2 to cover light refreshments and contribute towards a celebratory lunch.

Booking is not essential and anyone who wants to take part should attend on Thursday or call Carolyne Coyle on (01274) 449660, or e-mail ccoyle@carers resource.org.

  • Organisers of a carers event in Keighley have hailed it as a success. Information and support and a range of activities were on offer at Central Hall, in Alice Street.
