A documentary series filmed in Bradford about integration in multi-cultural Britain has won a prestigious international television award.

Make Bradford British won the Rose d'Or for Reality and Factual Entertainment at a ceremony in Brussels.

The Channel 4 programme looked at how people from different backgrounds lived together in Bradford, and filmed them as they shared their lives.

Other winners on the night included Sky 1’s Spy, which was named best sitcom, and the BBC documentary Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender, which won the award for arts programmes. More than 300 entries from over 30 countries were submitted this year.
